Winter is right around the corner and while many take this time to remain inside, the season opens up a whole range of outdoor possibilities. Everything from skiing and snowboarding to snowshoeing is possible only in the winter when snow falls plentifully from the sky. There are activities for a wide variety of ages, for snowtubing for youngsters to snowmobiling for adults. With so many options available, go out and enjoy the outdoors this winter.

For the typical recreationist, outdoor adventure during winter begins on the ski or snowboard slopes.
