The snow is melting, the birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming!  It is that time of year we are all getting into Summer shape. My first 9 miles and 3000′ elevation wander around made me walk a little funnier than my usual gait the following day!  At the lower elevations the 1st Spring flowers are already done and getting ready to plant their seeds for next year, while at the higher elevations flowers are just starting to burst out.  Come on up and see us and we will get you out there, somewhere!  We will point you in the right direction, or would love to head out with you.  If you are heading up to higher elevations, be prepared for snow patches and not being able to see the trail at times.  Hike with a friend, let your family know your itinerary, and carry your 10 essentials with you.  GET OUT there and have a great time!
