Hiking

The Mt. Hood National Forest is home to over one thousand miles of hiking trails! Tour the local Cross Town Trail or the historic Glade Trail. Let our expert guides take you on a hike in the Mt. Hood National Forest. They will identify plants, trees, and animals, as well as lead you on alternative routs to viewpoints and describe to you a slice of history in the area. Our guided hikes are hands on, experiential and interpretive in nature. They are a blast for everyone involved.

MIRROR LAKE HIKE

This 3.2 mile roundtrip hike takes you through the forest to Mirror Lake with fantastic views of Mt. Hood and the famous reflection on this alpine lake. A moderate hike. 2.5 hrs. $50

WATER FALL HIKE

Hike this fantastic 4.7 mile loop hike past Unbrella and Sahalie waterfalls. This hike has a 600 ft. elevation gain. Moderate. 3 hrs. $50

HISTORIC GOVERNMENT CAMP- CROSSTOWN TRAIL HIKE

Take a guided history walk through Government Camp and back around through the Cross Town Trail. This is a 6 mile hike that takes you through beautiful Mt. Hood National Forest and through main street Government Camp. 2 hrs. $40

LITTLE CRATER LAKE TO TIMOTHY LAKE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL HIKE

This grogeous walk takes you to Little Crater Lake and to Timothy Lake with vews of Mt. Hood along parts of the Pacific Crest Trail. 4.5 miles round trip. Moderate. 3 hrs. $50

TIMBERLINE LODGE to FROG LAKE PACIFIC CREST TRAIL HIKE

Join us on the spectacular 10 mile hike on the famous Pacific Crest Trail. This is an intermediate + hike due to the length of the hike. We shuttle to Timberline and pick you up at Frog Lake. A boxed lunch from High Mountain Cafe is included. This hike leaves Mt. Hood Adventure at 8am and returns at approximately 4pm. Cost: $100 per person.

SUNSET HIKES

Mt. Hood Adventure has a spectacular sunset hike to Tom Dick Peak. This hike starts minutes from Mt. Hood Adventure. Our guide takes you out, provides a nice snack and a great time. You will not want to miss this hike. Everyone visiting Government Camp should make this a yearly excursion! Leaves at 7pm. 3 hours : $60 per person

HIKE & KAYAK COMBO TOUR

This is the signature Mt. Hood Adventure summer tour. The hike starts from the Mt. Hood Adventure shop and goes through some of the most historic trails on Mt. Hood. The hike ends at Trillium Lake where the kayaks are waiting for you. The group hops in the boats for fun paddling and some of the best views of the mountain you will find anywhere. This is an AWESOME tour.

4-5 hour tour: $100 per person (includes guide, kayak, PFD, paddle, shuttle and more memories than you can stuff in your head).
