Just the site of a classic horse drawn sleigh ride through the winter wonderland of Government Camp makes for a great experience. The Belgian horses, the jingle of their bells and the romantic sleigh all come together to take you on a relaxing journey through the village with views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Hood Skibowl and the surrounding Cascade mountains. This is the most relaxing “Top 5 Adventure” on our list!
This adventure is for all ages and could be a family adventure or a romantic Valentine’s Day that you’ll never forget. Plan ahead because reservations for this adventure are limited. Plus, to get the full sleigh ride experience, you’ll want to time it right with the snow. If there isn’t enough snow, the horses pull a classic carriage to travel around the village which is a joy all in itself! Contact our Mt. Sleigh and Carriage rides depart from our store location in the center of Government Camp and will be available:
- December 17 – January 1, everyday. Rides will run from 10am to 6pm. Special request reservations are available anytime with proper notice.
